Where is Kabayan Hall located?

We are located in Waipahu, at 94-216 Farrington Hwy Suite A-107.  

What is the maximum capacity?

Kabayan Hall can accommodate up to 170 guests.  This amount does not include your vendors like your DJ, Catering, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, etc.....  We want to ensure your guest have enough space to be comfortable.

How much is the hall rental?

Please fill out our application form.

Does the venue rental comes with the Decoration, Photo Booth etc...?

If you are booking a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or holiday, you are required to get our basic package with also includes Stage decorations and photo booth.  Monday thru Thursday that does not fall on a holiday, does not come with stage decorations or photo booth.  But you still can choose our basic package for those days as well.  On those weekdays you do not get a basic package and you want photo booth, you are required to get Kabayan Hall photo booth only no outside vendors

Can I visit the venue without an appointment?

No, it’s by appointment only. Please fill out the application form or call Michelle at (808)726-7192 to make an appointment.  Walk through appointments are either on Thursday or Friday afternoons depending on the weeks schedule.  If you cannot make it on the Thursday or Friday of that week, we can see you on the weekends when we have events.  Please keep in mind, weekend meetings you will not be able to walk in the hall as we have events.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, absolutely! You can bring your perferred vendors.

However, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or holiday events are reserved for Murakami Productions decorations package. You can still bring your choice of caterer, DJ, Face painter, Band, Emcee, Entertainer....etc.  Kabayan Hall does reserve the right to not allow certain vendors or activities.  Please inquire before booking vendor if it is allowed.

Do you provide catering?

We do not provide catering. Our clients are welcome to bring their own food/caterer. However, if you need help we can also recommend one.

Do you allow liquor?

Liquor, wine, and glass of any kind is strictly prohibited in Kabayan Hall and the parking lot.  We allow our clients (Licensee) to provide their guests with beer and/or hard seltzers in cans only.  Their guests are not allowed to bring in any alcohol, beverages, liquid containers, or personal coolers.  This includes putting liquor, wine, or other prohibited drinks in other containers.  

How far in advance can I book my event?

It's never too early to book your event.  We do reservations on a first come first served basis.  Whoever pays the $1000 deposit and has a signed licensee agreement will get the date, we allow online payments and signing our licensee agreement.

What is Kabayan Halls cancellation policy?

Once you deposit, Kabayan Hall will not allow another client to rent on your reserved date.  Which means that once you deposit we have to turn away all other clients that may want the same date.  We have a 90 day cancellation policy at Kabayan Hall.  The most refund you can receive after you deposit is $500.  It doesn't matter if you deposited and cancel the next day. If you want to cancel your event with less than 90 days, there will be NO refund after this point.  

Also, if you cancel your event with less than 30 days, you will be charged the full rental price for your day.

Please make sure that when you book Kabayan Hall, we are the right hall for your event.
